When actor/writer/musician Dennis Quaid learned of the plight of veterans with PTSD and the great work being done by Guitars for Vets, he agreed to sign a series of guitars for this fundraising effort. A total of six guitars were adorned with images reminiscent of movie roles played by Quaid, each hand painted by Houston artist Tra’ Slaughter.

For a minimum donation of $3500 you could own this beautiful Washburn bass guitar (Model AB-20). Not only is it autographed by Dennis Quaid (with a personal message) but also is decorated with hand-painted art by Tra` Slaughter depicting Dennis in his role as General Sam Houston in the 2004 movie “The Alamo”.
